My professional career spans 23+ years in the creative and marketing industry. I learned the technical and creative side of photography at the start of 2016, and I have continued to specialize in portrait photography.
I continue to work with models from around the Texas area on test shoots and creative projects, using my Sony a7iii mirrorless camera.
I have been unofficially teaching family and friends how to use mirrorless or DSLR cameras, and now I have finally started teaching part-time to people all over the Dallas-Ft Worth, TX metroplex.
How I got started in photography
I started photography as a necessity in the creative industry, and my passion for portrait photography kept me creating and collaborating over the last 10+ years. I started with natural-light photography and soon moved to off-camera flash.
I still prefer natural light portrait photography, as there is nothing like capturing photos during a Texas sunset.
My Preferred Editing Software
I have been using Adobe Photoshop since 1999 so I can safely say it is my prefered editing program for portrait photography. I do have some experience with Lightroom but my preference is Adobe ACR and Photoshop.
